Description

This masters program focuses on understanding and managing the locational data required to use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) together with visualisation and map production in GIS environment. The focus on underpinning geomatics aspects and cartographic output is unique among GIS programmes. The only program in UK tha focuses on cartography with modern, cutting-edge cartographic and data visualisation practices. Students will benefit from access to the program's extensive computer laboratories and the latest software. This programme will also include either attendance a 3-day GIS research conference or a short residential field course.
